WORLD UNIVERSITY CHAMPIONSHIPS

World University Championship (WUC) events are held every two years in an alternate sequence to the World University Games, under the banner of the International University Sports Federation (FISU). There are currently 22 WUC sports in the FISU calendar which are staged in various cities throughout the world.

The SUSC selects teams to represent Singapore in World University Championship events in consultation with the relevant National Sports Associations (NSAs). The Singapore University team will compete in a number of championships but not necessarily all of them.

Eligibility
To be eligible to compete at the World University Championships, competitors must:
  • Be Singapore citizens aged at least 18 and less than 25 years of age as at 31 December in the year of the event

Selections
SUSC engages the relevant University Sports Officer (USO) and National Sports Associations (NSAs) to conduct selections for all teams.
