Anti-Doping Singapore (ADS) takes a very serious stance on the abuse of prohibited substances in sport, recreationally or competitively. The use of performance enhancing drugs not only tarnishes the integrity of sport and its athletes, it can also have detrimental health effects and in severe cases, even death. Integrity and fair play are of utmost importance, and everyone has a role to play in ensuring the rights of clean athletes are protected.

If the medication is prohibited, athletes shall seek medical advice for alternative medication that do not contain prohibited substance, otherwise, they will be required to apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).
